The idea
An AI coding agent starts every session knowing nothing about the project in front of it. Codinate is the project’s memory, and the agents keep it current themselves: they read where things stand when a session begins, then report what they did and record the decisions for the owner to confirm.

Faster than a notes app: type the thought, press Enter. Structure comes later, never as a tax on the idea.

Calm and private
A dark, quiet interface for long sessions, with accent only where it means something. It runs on your own machine, with no telemetry.
Status
In progress, and in daily use: it keeps the plan for its own development and for my other projects, this site included.
